その積丹ブルーの魅力を陶やキャンドル、ガラスに置き換え、手仕事が魅せる品々をご紹介いたします。

小樽に工房を構える陶芸家・三津和広さんは、積丹の海を想わせる鮮やかなトルコ青の釉薬を用い、「積丹ブルー」と呼ばれる海景を器の中に表現しています。積丹の青く澄んだ海を映したような美しい色彩は、見る人の心を惹きつけます。

【三津和広】三津和広

石川県で3年間 九谷焼を学び、同時に陶芸家の松本佐一に師事し、陶器・磁器の技術を学ぶ。 現在は小樽で工房を構え、作品の材料は石川県から取り寄せて製作。百貨店や美術館等の企画展にも参加している。

The Shakotan Peninsula is renowned for its beautiful scenery facing the Sea of Japan.

The breathtaking views created by the coastline of sheer cliffs and the azure sea—known as “Shakotan Blue”—vividly enliven summer in Otaru.

We present a collection of handcrafted items that capture the charm of Shakotan Blue through ceramics, candles, and glass.

Ceramic artist Kazuhiro Mitsu, who has his studio in Otaru, uses a vivid turquoise glaze reminiscent of the Shikotan Sea to capture the seascape known as “Shikotan Blue” within his vessels. The beautiful colors, which seem to reflect the clear blue waters of Shikotan, captivate the hearts of all who see them.

At the pop-up, you’ll find UNGAPLUS’s original “Shikotan Blue Tumbler” as well as mugs and other items. Please feel free to pick them up and take a closer look.
