来週からスタートするCOASのPOPUP『Brass, and Time』。
店頭に並ぶ作品からピックアップしてご紹介いたします。

もともとバングルに施していたものと同じ装飾を、リングとして仕立て直したアクセサリー。太すぎないアームをぐるりと深めの彫金が取り巻いており、トップにはミル打ちで囲んだ丸いモチーフが据えられています。

存在感があり、手元の主役になるリングです。

真鍮を素材とし、古くから港町として栄えた小樽の雰囲気を豊かに表現するCOAS。 広島市立大で彫刻を学び、アクセサリーの原型を創る仕事に就いた後、小樽に魅了され立ち上げたオリジナルブランド。 大人の旅を連想させるCOASの作品は、ロープやいかりがモチーフの繊細なピアス、素材そのものをダイナミックに使ったバングル等、様々な表現を見せる。

at UNGAPLUS 2F, San no Kura NAKASHI

COAS’s pop-up event, “Brass, and Time,” kicks off next week.
Here’s a selection of pieces from the collection that will be on display in-store.

These accessories feature the same decorative elements originally found on bangles, reimagined as rings. A deep engraving encircles the band—which isn’t too thick—and a round motif, framed by milgrain detailing, is set at the top.

This ring has a strong presence and is sure to be the star of your hand.
