北海道・小樽を拠点に活動するアクセサリーブランド「COAS」のPOPUP『Brass, and Time』を開催いたします。

陰翳の美しい繊細な意匠を大切にしながら、近年は「真鍮」という素材そのものの魅力をより深く表現する作品づくりへと歩みを進めているCOAS。手にしたときに感じる重みや厚み。真鍮という金属が持つ豊かな表情を作品の中に映し出した造形は、小さな彫刻のような存在感を放ちます。

We are pleased to announce the “Brass, and Time” pop-up event by “COAS,” an accessory brand based in Otaru, Hokkaido.

While cherishing delicate designs that capture the beauty of light and shadow, COAS has recently been moving toward creating pieces that more deeply express the inherent charm of “brass” as a material. The weight and thickness you feel when you hold them. The forms, which reflect the rich character of brass, exude a presence akin to small sculptures.

The small sculptures created by COAS are intricate yet somehow organic. The subtle variations created by handcrafting give rise to soft light and shadow.

Brass gains luster and deepens in color the more it is used. As it slowly matures over time, its depth resonates with the scenery of Otaru, a city that has long flourished as a port town. Please take this opportunity to experience the charm of COAS right here in Otaru.
