明治から大正にかけて、北海道開拓の玄関口として栄えた小樽。港から運河周辺は積み荷を捌く大勢の仲仕で溢れていました。仲仕とは、港湾労働者のこと。沖に着いた積み荷は、沖に泊まった大型の船から仲仕たちの手で艀に積み替えられ、引き船にひかれて運河を通り、艀から倉庫へ運ばれました。

UNGAPLIUSは、当時の仲仕たちが纏っていた作業着から着想し、今に受け継がれるスタイルとして『NAKASHI』をお届けします。

織の細かい綿を使い、「半纏」のスタイルをシンプルに、軽やかに。

ワッシャー加工を施した、コットン100％のライプライター生地を使用し、ふっくらとした風合いで、洗いをかけたような自然な皺がある仕上がり。

カラーは、ベージュ、ライトカーキ、ネイビーの3種類ございます。

From the Meiji to the Taisho eras, Otaru flourished as the gateway to Hokkaido’s development. The area around the port and canal was teeming with large numbers of nakashi handling cargo. Nakashi were port laborers. Cargo arriving offshore was transferred by hand from large ships anchored at sea onto barges, then pulled by tugboats through the canal and transported from the barges to warehouses.

Inspired by the workwear worn by the laborers of that era, UNGAPLIUS presents “NAKASHI” as a style that has been passed down to the present day.

Made from finely woven cotton, this piece offers a simple, lightweight take on the “hanten” style.

Crafted from 100% cotton ripstop fabric with a washed finish, it features a soft, fluffy texture and a natural, worn-in look with subtle wrinkles.

Available in three colors: beige, light khaki, and navy.
